Angels in the Dust, directed by Louise Hogarth (The Gift), is the inspiring story of Marion Cloete who—with her husband and two daughters—establish Boikarabelo, an extraordinary village and school that provide shelter, food, and education to South African children effected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Louise was inspired by the woman and children she met during the making of her documentary Angels in the Dust, and launched the Do Ubuntu Orphan Bracelet Campaign. This project supports a number of local programs, including a crafter's training program that teaches women how to craft the bracelets, run their own businesses, open bank accounts, and other life skills. Each rubber orphan bracelet is handcrafted using lead-free copper, brass, and aluminum wire. All proceeds directly benefit mothers and children affected by HIV/AIDS.
