Jan 10, 2012 - Did you link all your suppliers in the video description box?
SeattleSoap Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - What does the sodium lactate do for your soap?
EdentiaFarms Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - The sodium lactate makes the bar harder. It also has preservative qualities.
EdentiaFarms Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - No, the suppliers are not linked. I only mentioned suppliers that were used in this soap only.

Jan 10, 2012 - Super soap for Lori She is going to love it esp all of the effort you went to for the complex scent muti colours I entered your ingreds into Soapcalc the water content is much higher, based on your recipe. Could that be why it got thick so fast? They call for 12.54 ozs of water.

Jan 10, 2012 - Bonnie, I loved watching you make my friendship soap! It turned out sooo super nice. I love the peach color and how sweet of you to put sparkly pink glitter on top ! ;0) I love it and look at that lather! ;0) The crinkle cut on it is really nice too. You are one straight cutter! Thank you Bonnie!!! ♥

Jan 10, 2012 - Yes Bonnie you pronouced ylang ylang correctly it is pronounced with an "E" Elang Elang Just a FYI. Great job I love this soap.

Jan 10, 2012 - Interesting. It's been awhile since I've used any soap calculator. In my opinion they always call for excess water and cure times are much much longer as a result. I used a 2:1 water to lye ration which I do not consider to be discounted. I really liked how the soap bubbled and lathered. I will be trying this recipe again, maybe with some clays. I will try and add more water... maybe a 1:2.5 ratio, that would be 12oz and observe. I think it also might be the coconut oil.

Jan 10, 2012 - Yay! =) Knew I'd get it right one of these days!

Jan 10, 2012 - How are the bars now ? Are they good and hard ? Have the colours/scent changed ? Its super neat soap ! Wonder if the peach tea will move back allow the other scents to come forward........Coolio !
EdentiaFarms Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - They are good and hard for being only a few days old but if I wanted to I could squish them in. They probably need about 4 weeks for curing. At first the scent was strong. Now, it's evening out and has a peachy, fruity mix scent. I can't pick apart the scents in this one. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to guess whats in there.
mukwah1111 Says:
Jan 11, 2012 - Well it looks like a fab soap. I bet the scent will keep changing developing with time too. Has this gift soap put you back in the mood to get back into more soap making ? Nothing like a little inspiration !
